About

I’m from a small town in Maine called Livermore. Have worked in the paper mill industry since 1983 and still currently work in them. My trade is electrical and instrument technician. I am married with two grown children. I was a ski racer as a young man and raced some into my early 40’s. Both of our children ski raced in High School. I enjoy snow mobiling and enjoy a good swim in the lakes during the hot summer days. I write short stories to keep the mind working. We have a German Shepard dog which we really enjoy.

A challenge for sure, writing from the mind. I have enjoyed writing, me writing? It has become a new hobby. I started out blogging only for the fact I liked the way some people stories were setup on a platform and it looked good. I decided to figure out what editing software they were using and I found wordpress. I signed up and started writing. It does give a nice platform to send pictures and setup themes for your post.

I never in a millions years thought I would be a writer. I did love to write short stories when in high school. Another hobby to chock up in the books.

    1. Thank You Gede Prama for the kind words about my blog. I took on this writing stuff to challenge the mind a little. I am not the best writer in the world but write to have fun and sometimes try to be humorous. Again Thanks my friend.

    1. I have been to Austrailia once. Ham Radio contact. The airwaves were just right. We live 19000 miles away but can make contact via digital just like that. Technology sure has come a long way. Yes I will like to hear some stories from down under for sure. I’m sure a lot of people have the same story. Cheerio to U

      1. (Just had to say…) That’s an interesting coincidence, my late father was an avid Ham Radio operator. VK2JRC. He went every year to the annual Ham convention at Urunga, (New South Wales). And was a volunteer with WICEN NSW that helped with radio communication during the Newcastle (NSW) earthquake. A small world.

      2. I was an active Ham Operator N1MUA. I have a twin brother who is very active and today. I was active for about 10 years and would go to annual Ham Conventions as well. My twin brothers call is W1UOY he has been doing HAM for 40 years. Yes it is a small world and people really do have a lot in common, even if we live so far apart and different countries.
